Launched in February of 2002, iFroggy Hosting is a division of the iFroggy Network. Our hosting packages are offered through a partnership with 100 Megs Web Hosting, Inc., an experienced provider of web hosting solutions with a dedicated team available around the clock.

Our aim isn't to be the cheapest, but to offer a good value and, more importantly, a good experience. We want to offer you a solid solution with excellent, dependable support.

Of course, we not only recommend it - we use it ourselves - the iFroggy Hosting/100 Megs Web Hosting servers play host to some of the largest sites in the iFroggy Network, including phpBBHacks.com and KarateForums.com.

About Our Servers

Our servers are housed within the world-class Data393 datacenter facility located in the Denver Tech Center (DTC) in Englewood, Colorado. Features include:

• Redundant power feeds from Xcel Energy of Colorado
• Parallel redundant Telco-grade Powerware UPS units implemented via a Starline Bussway system
• Two backup diesel-powered generators that when needed can/will power all critical infrastructure indefinitely
• Cutting-edge environmental filtering and temperature/humidity control systems
• Advanced fire and smoke detection monitored 24/7 in house as well as by a 3rd party (Honeywell)
• Thousands of alarm points and sensors above and below flooring with a "smart" fire suppression system
• 24x7 electronic monitoring of all sensors, regulators and alarms
• Continual patrols of highly-trained and certified facility technicians
• One point of entry for all staff and clients (high security)
• Biometric hand scanners, video surveillance, card key required access and individual locking server cabinets

But, state-of-the-art power and security is only the beginning. The network architecture within the facility is also extremely impressive, having been meticulously engineered for maximum fault-tolerance and lightning quick speeds. Features include:

• Redundant internet connectivity provided by two of the most highly regarded providers in the world (Savvis and Internap)
• The Denver area Savvis backbone node is actually housed inside the Data393 facility along with our servers
• Gigabit fiber connectivity from the facility to the Denver area Internap P-NAP (750 feet away)
• Use of Fortigate brand hardware firewalls to protect all of our network segments
• Use of brand-name network components such as the HP ProCurve line of high-end Ethernet devices
• Use of self correcting, intelligent routing protocols to ensure amazing speeds and low latency for all connections

Of course, a powerful internet connection and an impressive facility is only effective if the servers themselves are running smoothly. We therefore build our servers with only the highest quality internal components. Our most recent configuration is:

2 GB of RAM
2x 500 GB SATA or 300 GB SCSI

These high-end machines are never overloaded or oversold and are continually monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by some of the best trained techs in the business. All of our servers currently run Red Hat Linux for the ultimate in reliability, security, and of course performance.
